dc.description.abstractOtorhinolaryngology is a clinical discipline exploring anatomy, physiology and pathology of the ear, upper respiratory tract and adjoining areas. Importance and necessity of their teaching at the final stage of doctor’s training is caused by the fact that upper respiratory tract diseases are at the first place among human illnesses and account for approximately 15% of all appeals to medical institutions. Besides, prompt treatment of ENT diseases can prevent various pathologies of internal organs, allows avoiding such serious chronic diseases as rheumatism, polyarthritis, pyelonephritis, cholecystitis, vessel pathologies, nervous system, visual organ, as well as allows preserving workability and longevity.uk
